Karina Colon, Actress/Model and dear friend

Marathon Sunday was a festive day. Cool and not too frantic, the runners faced their demons and, except for two fatal heart-attacks near 81'st and Columbus, all ended well. I, myself, got into the swing of things but was aced out by a paraplegic and a triple amputee. I'll be in shape for the 2009 marathon! My dear Friend, the beautiful actress and model - Karina Colon, could not run this year because of her many Hollywood engagements, but send me a congratulatory email - thinking that I actually participated. Look for her up-coming movie "Vatican Vampires" at a theatre near you and stay cool.

This is my friend - Actress/Model Illiana. She is from Sarajevo, lives in Manhattan, studies at CUNY and does occasional jobs with STARS Models Inc. Her family still lives in the Balkans but she hopes to develop a career here in the USA, and I do what I can to help her with our MS Media commercials, She has a certain charm as you see in the clip.

Morton Siegel, (himself) at the steinway last week with the beautiful singer Barbara Adomani. The song is "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" by Rogers and Hammerstein and the place is the famous "Duplex" cabaret in Greenwich Village.

Newly opened Spice Fusion Indian Cuisine is located on 8'th Ave. between 47'th and 48'th Street. It was delightfully revued by Bob Lape on WCBS Radio and Crain's Weekly. I'm looking forward to bringing many varied guests.

Hello and welcome to akamortonmedia. My name is Morton (hence the akamorton part of it) and I thought it was high time for me to get involved in the burgeoning art of blogging and become part of the technological times. Since blogging is brand new to me, despite the fact that I've explored many political/celebrity blog spots and wondered what their collective points were, I'm not altogether sure of what I exactly intend to accomplish or how long I can build retain blogging interest while trying to acquire an audience (is that the correct noun?) or ...well, what the hell..you know know what the hell I'm trying to say....
So let's get on with blogging and, for want of any logical closing statement, may the best blogger keep alive.
