Karina Colon, Actress/Model and dear friendMarathon Sunday was a festive day. Cool and not too frantic, the runners faced their demons and, except for two fatal heart-attacks near 81'st and Columbus, all ended well. I, myself, got into the swing of things but was aced out by a paraplegic and a triple amputee. I'll be in shape for the 2009 marathon! My dear Friend, the beautiful actress and model - Karina Colon, could not run this year because of her many Hollywood engagements, but send me a congratulatory email - thinking that I actually participated. Look for her up-coming movie "Vatican Vampires" at a theatre near you and stay cool.

I would've ran, Mort. But Marathon day is a boon for us fruit vendors and well, i just couldn't pass up such a day for coughing and choking for what would feel to me, dayyysss.. BTW, would you like some oranges?
